Primary Message of Divine Scriptures: Torah, Gospel and Quran
Throughout time, God revealed many Scriptures to His chosen Messengers, including the Torah to Moses, Gospel of Jesus to Jesus and the final revelation, the Quran, to Muhammad ﷺ. The central theme and message mentioned consistently in each of the Scriptures was always the same:
Worship the One True God alone, Without any partner, Exclusively on God’s Terms and Conditions – By Following the Messenger Sent to Your Nation.
The Quran confirms this same message as the previous scriptures. God says:
“We sent to you the Scripture with truth, confirming those Scriptures that came before it.” (Quran 5:58)
One God, One Message, One Truth: From Noah to Muhammad (ﷺ)
The message of all God’s Prophets and Messengers, from Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus to Muhammad (peace be upon them all), was the same call to pure monotheism, i.e. to worship the One True God.
God says:
“In matters of faith, He has laid down for you the same commandments that He gave Noah, which We have revealed to you, and which We enjoined on Abraham, Moses, and Jesus…” (Quran 42:13)
The Messengers of God even instructed and commanded their families to uphold this noble message. Jacob said to his children:
“My sons, God has chosen the only path for you, so submit to Him in devotion throughout your life and until death.” (Quran 2:132)
The Final Revelation, The Quran, for All Mankind
The Messenger Muhammad ﷺ informed us that the messengers are like brothers with different mothers: their laws sometimes differed historically for a Divine wisdom, but their religion was always one, and the same, Islam (submission to God).
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “Both in this world and in the Hereafter, I am the nearest of all the people to Jesus, the son of Mary. The prophets are paternal brothers; their mothers are different, but their religion is one.” (Sahih al-Bukhari 3443)
Muhammad ﷺ ’s message was the final completion of all previous revelations and replaced all prior teachings. His teachings are universally meant for all people, preserved in its original language, and remain valid until the end of time.
